Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Sake Brewers Guild (“SBG”). Our community is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where all members can learn, share, and collaborate on sake brewing best practices. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we have established the following Code of Conduct. By participating in the SBG, you agree to abide by these guidelines:
1. Respect Each Other
Harassment and Bullying: Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to bullying, sexual harassment, and guild membership coordination for harassment purposes, is strictly prohibited.
Threats: Do not threaten harm to individuals or groups, whether directly, indirectly, or suggestively.
Privacy: Do not share or threaten to share personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals without their consent, including facilitating doxxing.
Hate Speech: Do not use hate speech or engage in other forms of hateful conduct, including the use of hate symbols or denial of historical atrocities.
Violent Extremism: Do not organize, promote, or support violent extremism, including acts of violence or conspiracy theories that incite violence.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Do not solicit, share, or normalize content depicting child sexual abuse or that sexualizes children in any way.
Legal Age: The Sake Brewers Guild is restricted to individuals who are of legal age to make and consume alcohol in their country of origin.
Sexual Conduct: Do not engage in sexual conduct or solicit sexual content from anyone under the age of 18.
Explicit Content: Do not share sexually explicit content in any space that cannot be age-restricted.
Non-consensual Content: Do not share or distribute sexually explicit or suggestive content of others without their consent.
Self-Harm and Violence: Do not share content that glorifies or promotes suicide, self-harm, or violence against others.
Graphic Content: Do not share real media depicting gore, excessive violence, or animal harm with the intent to harass or shock others.
2. Respect the Sake Brewers Guild
Spam: Do not send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or facilitate spam-related activities.
Bots: Each member must be associated with a human, not a bot. Do not use self-bots or member-bots.
Guild Assets: Do not sell or purchase SBG assets, including member names, servers, or custom server links.
Misinformation: Do not share false or misleading information that could lead to harm or hinder participation in civic processes.
Identity Misrepresentation: Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in a deceptive or harmful manner.
Enforcement Evasion: Do not attempt to evade enforcement actions or create new accounts after being banned.
Security: Do not engage in activities that compromise the security of members, networks, or systems, such as phishing or denial-of-service attacks.
Financial Scams: Do not promote, coordinate, or participate in financial scams or fraudulent activities.
Fraud: Do not engage in activities that defraud others, including forgery, money laundering, or counterfeit goods.
False Reports: Do not submit false or abusive reports to the SBG support teams.
3. Follow the Law
Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights and do not share or sell information acquired through discussions with other members.
Regulated Goods: Do not promote or facilitate the sale of regulated or dangerous goods.
Gambling: Do not organize, promote, or participate in illegal gambling activities.
Illegal Activities: Do not engage in any illegal activities, including human trafficking or sexual solicitation.
If you encounter any content or activity that violates these guidelines, please report it to the SBG immediately. Our board reviews reports and may take enforcement actions, including warnings, content removal, suspensions, or bans. We prioritize maintaining a safe and supportive community for all members.
