This site is a labor of love from a group of commercial and home sake brewers who are extremely dedicated to bringing the joy of sake brewing to the English speaking world.

The resources you see here are a product of a sake lineage that stretches back over a thousand years and enthusiasts like Fred Eckhardt, William Auld, Gautier Roussille, and others stood on the shoulders of giants and began the hard work to organize.

We now stand upon their shoulders and truly hope you can use this site to skip over the countless hours we have spent scouring the world for books, articles, and media that will shed a little more light on the wonderful art of sake brewing.

This little project got started in Sept 2021, so if it's a little sparse, we’ll have it updated in a jiffy. We’re literally translating, running lengthy practical experiments, and trying to create succinct training materials to bring you everything you need to get up and running.
